Our Philosopy
We celebrate neurodiversity and tailor therapy to your child, and family’s unique needs.
You know your child best, we give you the tools to support their growth between sessions.
Our compassionate BCBAs and RBTs are highly skilled and dedicated to helping your child thrive.
At Tellos, we’ve walked in your shoes. We know how hard this journey can be; we live it every day. This firsthand knowledge fuels our commitment to bring better therapy to your family. So we started a clinic designed to bring real change. In doing this, we have built a community of therapists that have this same focus.
We are here for you and on your side.
How it Works...
We start by learning about your concerns and your child’s unique needs. This is also a chance for you to ask any questions. If we’re the right fit, we’ll handle all the setup to get started.
A BCBA will conduct a thorough assessment and design a customized therapy plan tailored to your child’s strengths, challenges, and goals. We’ll review it together to ensure alignment every step of the way.
Our dedicated BCBAs and RBTs are honored to walk this journey with you. We partner with your family to create meaningful progress and real impact - because your child’s growth is our mission.
ABA therapy can be truly life-changing, and it's important to keep in mind that it's a big decision for a family. ABA works best when caregivers are actively involved in the therapy process, so it's important to consider if you're ready to make that commitment as we partner with you to help your child thrive. We're here to support you in figuring out if it's the right fit for your child and your family, and answering all of your questions along the way.
In-home ABA therapy brings structured learning to your child’s everyday environment. A BCBA creates a tailored plan, and an RBT works one-on-one with your child at home to build key skills. Weekly BCBA supervision and parent training ensure ongoing progress. Your active participation is key, and we’re here to support your whole family every step of the way.
BCBAs are Board Certified Behavior Analysts, meaning they've earned a master's or doctorate degree and passed rigorous exams to become experts in ABA therapy. They assess your child’s strengths and challenges, set specific goals, and adjust strategies as needed. They also train and supervise RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians), who work directly with your child at home. Most importantly, they provide weekly guidance to you, ensuring you feel confident in supporting your child’s progress every day.
We believe that empowering parents is crucial to the therapy’s success. Our parent training includes teaching you ABA techniques to use at home, helping you understand how to reinforce your child's progress, and providing you with tools to manage and extend the learning and development.
Parent training is a key part of a truly comprehensive ABA therapy program, designed to empower you with the skills and knowledge to support your child's growth.
Each week, you'll meet with your child's BCBA to learn strategies, discuss progress, and collaborate on goals, ensuring therapy is consistent and effective at home; our team of RBTs, supervised by the BCBA, will also be there to support your child and family throughout the week. We're committed to working together with you, every step of the way.
The first month is focused on building a strong relationship between your child and their care team, getting a good sense of what is most important to you, and integrating the therapy into your child’s daily routine. You’ll see the initial assessment turn into a customized care plan, followed by the start of regular therapy sessions. This period is also about setting the foundation for parent involvement and adjusting the plan as needed to optimize outcomes.
We strive to make the therapy process as smooth as possible, including dealing with insurance. We handle all the paperwork and coordinate with insurance providers to ensure that you receive the maximum benefits available under your plan. We accept most major insurances and provide clear, upfront information about all costs.
Every child is unique, and so are their needs. We start with a detailed assessment to understand your child's specific challenges and strengths. Based on this, we develop a personalized care plan that focuses on your child's individual needs, learning style, and the goals that you as parents help set.
